He was predeceased by: his wife Colleen A. Gill; his brother Timothy; and his parents, Michael Zaberdac and Genevieve Zaberdac. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Joseph Zaberdac, Jr. (Kim), Mark Andrew Zaberdac (Sherry) and Michelle Lynn Zaberdac; his grandchildren, Alicia Madvek (Nicholas), Casey Zaberdac, Nicholas Zaberdac (Beth), Madeline Biggs (Tyler) and Gabrielle Zaberdac; his great grandchildren, William Zaberdac, Hannah Madvek and Adalynn Zaberdac; and his son Steve Dell.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthias Catholic Church (101 W Burrell Dr, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Ronald's name to Hospice of the Calumet Area , 600 Superior Ave., Munster, IN 46321.
