He was predeceased by: his parents, George Santay and Estelle Santay (Maciones); his former wife Elizabeth Santay (Betty); his wife Jeannette Raschke-Santay; and his son-in-law Raymond Cloyd.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Cloyd, David Santay (Maribeth), Dennis Santay (Kim) and Donald Santay (Liz Cole); his grandchildren, Kelly, Lauren, Kara, James, Colleen, Brian and Erin; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Dylan, Luke, Henry, Jayce, Jackson and Sophie; his sister Evelyn Corban (late Fred); and his stepdaughters, Kathleen Raschke, Barbara Josvai (Doug), Nancy Weaver (Hiland) and Patricia Schilling (Robert).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Mary Church (525 N Broad St, Griffith, IN 46319). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the St John St Joseph Cemetery (1547 167th St, Hammond, IN 46320).
