He is survived by: his son Eric McCarty (Belinda); his grandchildren, Afina, Alexander and Addisyn McCarty; his stepchildren, Jeffrey Gatton, Joe Gatton (Cheryl) and Therese Payne (Keith); and his siblings, Glenda McCarty and John Gatton. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
