It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Underwood of Crown Point, Indiana, born in Cedar Lake, Indiana, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Underwood and Judith Underwood; his brother LeRoy Underwood; and his brother-in-law Dale Bowie. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Faye Underwood; his children, Renci Stewart (Shawn) and Richie Underwood (Cindi); his pet Dozer; his sister Brenda Lawson; and his siblings-in-law, Dwight Bowie (Brenda), Shelly Bowie and David Bowie (Kaye). He is also survived by his 10 grandcats, his nieces, and nephews; and many good friends.
