She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Cormican and Francis Cormican; and her sister Molly Herbst. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Shaffer; her sons, Phillip C. Shaffer (Karen) of Brook, IN and Kenneth E. Shaffer II (Samantha) of Crown Point; her grandchildren, Kenneth Shaffer III, Phyllis Shaffer, Monica Shaffer and Aaron Shaffer (Reagan); her great grandchildren, Trinity, Donald, Clay, Emma and Maddox; and her brother Frank Cormican.
