He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O'Brien and Mary O'Brien (Gearon); and his sisters, Carla O'Brien Mulley (Frank) and Brenna Patricia O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Diane Finney O'Brien; his children, Amy O'Brien Hillman (Dan), Michael James O'Brien, Jr. (Meghan) and Robert Finney O'Brien; his grandchildren, Ainsley Hillman, Reese Hillman, Cullen Hillman, Gregory O'Brien, Lochlan O'Brien and Michael Henry O'Brien; and his sister Holly O'Brien Corace.
