He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gaetano "Guy" DeSimone (late Lucille) and Antoinette Felice (Antonio). He is survived by: his wife Nancy DeSimone; his daughter Carole Rance (Michael); his grandchildren, Liam and Isla Rance; his siblings, Vito DeSimone (Susan) and Angie DeSimone; and his sister-in-law Pamela McKenzie (Ronald).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthias Catholic Church (101 W Burrell Dr, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
