The memory of Mary Marcotte of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 72, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gonzalo Barrera and Viola Barrera; and her siblings, Mario, Janie and Viola.
She is survived by: her husband John Marcotte; her sons, Allen T. Vehrs Jr. (Joey Smith) and Jeffrey Vehrs (Rebecca Griegel); her grandchildren, Zachary Vehrs, Chase Vehrs, Mark Vehrs and Christopher Griegel; and her great grandchild Nova Vehrs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthias Catholic Church (101 W Burrell Dr, Crown Point, IN 46307).
