She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond; her parents, Frank Bender and Frances Bender; her siblings, Mary Cushman (George) and Frank Bender (Gloria); and her sister-in-law Pauline Bender.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Funston (William), Barbara Hilbrich (Richard), Susan Jacob (Jason) and Deborah Magiera (Lee); her grandchildren, Amanda Kuebler (Jarod), Sarah Funston, Will Funston, Richard Hilbrich (Diana), Christine Lieske (Andrew), Raymond Hilbrich, Donald Haas (Courtney), Heather Haas, Chester Magiera (Jessie), Louise Hook (Adam) and Marie Ratliff (Zak); her siblings, Ruth Ann Bender and John Bender; and her sister-in-law Judy Drackert. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marguerite's name to St. Mary Catholic School in Crown Point, IN.
