He was predeceased by: his wife Jolanta Łaszczuk; his parents, Jadwiga Laszczuk and Bolesław Łaszczuk; and his stepfather Stanisław Rogoziński. He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Sternberg; his granddaughter Lola Sternberg; and his brothers, Maciej and Jacek Łaszczuk. He is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
