We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2022, at the age of 88, Mahala Turner of Crown Point, Indiana, born in Harbor Springs, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John T. and Floella Craig (Washburn); her daughters, Sherry Lynn Ake (Bruce) of Kimball, MI, Ranae Diana Heeres (Doug) of Fayette, OH and Melanie Beth Hardman (James) of Crown Point, IN; her sister Leona M. Perry of Caro, MI; her grandchildren, Melissa Peake (Matthew) of Owenton, KY, Jennilyn Vander Weide (Chris) of Caledonia, MI, Erica Suffel (Levi) of Angola, IN, Landon Heeres (Emily) of Whitehouse, OH, Whitney Heeres of Fayette, OH, Stephanie Garcia (Derek) of Long Island, NY, Andrea Nicholas (Jeran) of Ponmar, Tamil Nadu and India; her great grandchildren, Asher, Adelyn, Turner, Titus, Jackson, Joy, Gabriel, Silas, Eliana, Rosalie, Grace, Josiah, Obed, Timothy, Nathaniel, Owen and Eva; and her siblings, John T. Craig, Jr., Violet P. Kolberg and Mary R. Black.
