She was predeceased by: her father Peter LaSota; her husband Bennett Young; her son David Young; and her siblings, James LaSota, Henry LaSota, Dorothy Andrews and Marge Oliver.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Young of Griffith, Steven Young of Crown Point and Karen Czerwinski (Don) of Valparaiso; and her sister Jane LaSota of Calumet City, IL. She is also survived by four grandchildren; one great grandchild.
