He was predeceased by: his sister Jackie Hilton. He is survived by: his children, Joey Hilton (Taylor), Kevin Hilton (Destiny), Cory Hilton and Ryan Hilton; his grandchildren, Piper and Joey Jr. Hilton; his parents, Jack Hilton and Darlene Hilton; and his siblings, Steven Hilton and Jennifer Roden.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Leo's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

“I am very upset to find this out. I had been texting Leo and he didn't respond. I thought something was wrong because he was a good communicator. Leo and I worked together in Chicago at my building for the last 6-years in all manners of plumbing. He did great work, had insight and I found him to be charming. We would spend time together, after work was completed, as we shared interests in Lapidary/Geology and gardening. Leo spoke to me about his son and how proud he was of him. Wade E.”
