With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVerne Mae Bormann of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on July 14, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Bormann; her parents, Peter Dahlke and Amanda Dahlke; her grandson Joshua Bormann; and her sisters, Marian Dahlke, Dolly Kaiser and Therese Konopasek.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Bormann and Janet Young; and her grandchildren, Rachel Powell (Nate), Crystal Bellinger (Jonathan), Jacob Plantinga (Kylee) and Elijah Bormann. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and her many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in LaVerne's name to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
