He was predeceased by: his son Kurtiss Hayes; his parents, Eldon Hayes and Betty Hayes; and his sister Joyce Schroeder. He is survived by: his son Kenny Hayes; his brother Eldon "Bud" Hayes; his close friend Della Wittgren; his nieces and nephews, Carrie Snow (Garret Maddox), Casey Snow, Heidi Snow (Scott Piovano), Ryan Hayes (Lyndsey), Vanessa Joy Hayes and Brandon Hayes (Jennifer); and his close friends, Tim Palmer (Marcy), Kurt Parrish, Kathy and Steve Witherspoon.
