Jeanne G. (Gray) Blane Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne G. (Gray) Blane of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Gray and Evelyn C. Gray; her cousin Dorothea Coover (Mac); her son John E. Jackson; her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Leas (Al) and Sandra Smoot (W. K.); and also, Dick D. Jackson and Raymond T. Blane.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Jackson Casteel, Richard Jackson (Margaret) and Linda Jackson; her grandchildren, David Casteel (Morgan), Jack Casteel (Gail), Tom Casteel, Silas Jackson, Katie Jackson-Meara (Chris Baldwin) and Nolan Jackson-Meara; her great grandchildren, Sadie Carpenter (Baylee), Madison Casteel, David G. Casteel, Alivia Spry, Natalie Spry and Olivia G. Baldwin; her children, Karen Blane, Barry Blane (Cindy) and Mark Blane (Chris); her grandchildren, Barry Kulinski (Glorimar), Julie Lowis (Jon), Erin Drufke (Matt), Marty Blane (Jenna), Randy Blane (Sarah), Amy Sahlhoff (Shaun), Emily Cline (Eric), Travis Blane (Eliza), Mark Blane, Carly Blane and Cecilia Souronis; and her great grandchildren, Melissa Kulinski, Eduardo Sullivan, Mia Sullivan, Grant Lowis, Aubrey Lowis, Jaxon Lowis, Henry Drufke, Conrad Drufke, Addie Blane, Lucas Blane, Alivia Blane, Lucy Blane, Ryan Blane, Makenzie Blane, Benjamin Sahlhoff, Jude Blane and Sloane Blane. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Jeanne's name to the VNA Hospice of Valparaiso, IN or to the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled – Library of Congress.
