He was predeceased by: his father James M. Gentleman; and his sister Sandra Kincses. He is survived by: his daughter Christy Casterline; his mother Gloria Gentleman; his grandson Will Casterline; and his sister Cathie. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Crown Point Community Foundation for a scholarship to be given in Jim's name.
