It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob Esala of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Toivo Esala and Ardis Esala. He is survived by: his wife Carole Esala; his sons, Christopher and David Esala (Erika); his granddaughter Eleanor; and his siblings, Darrell (Rosemary), Keith (Beverly), Greg Esala (Adele) and Marsha Maki (Scott). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Jack's name to Trinity Lutheran Church and School or the Crown Point Community Foundation.
