He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Canan-Cheek (Craig), Jack Canan (Diane) and Dan Canan (Jen); his grandchildren, Ashley Canan-Holland (Joshua), Jeff Oskierko, Logan and Dylan Canan; and his siblings, Robert Canan, Shirley Shieu (Ron) and Eileen Skees (late William).
