She is survived by: her children, Diane Serczyk (late Al) and Richard Sowa (Sharon); her grandchildren, Jamie Brennan (Joe), Angela Tilton (James), Joseph Sowa (Jenni), Brian Sowa, Jeffrey Sowa, Kristin Mauro (Jermey), Michael Serczyk (Jean) and Tracy Morrison (Howard); her great grandchildren, Shelby Brennan, Aiden Brennan, Payton Brennan, Liam Brennan, Jonas Sowa, Aurora Sowa, Charles Tilton, Joshua Sowa, Julianna Sowa, Jesslyn Sowa, Jameson Sowa, Alisha Morrison, Craig Morrison, Joey Serczyk (Cassidy), Alex Serczyk and Kailey Serczyk; and her great great grandchildren, Deagan Sowa, Bentley Sowa, Hurley Sowa, Emma Mauro, Parker Serczyk and Montana Serczyk.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).
