He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his parents, James Nightingale and Beulah Nightingale; and his brother George Nightingale (Georgia). He is survived by: his children, Everett K. Nightingale (Joanne), Cindy Young (Daryl) and Michael Nightingale (Karen); his grandchildren, Cristy Thomas (Matt), Jeffrey Nightingale and Katelynn Nightingale; and his siblings, Lucian Pruitt and Jeanette Tucker (Dick). He is also survived by four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
