He is survived by: his wife Alva Jean; his daughter Tracee Podgorski (Mike); his grandson Clint "Gus" Nelson (Jenny); his stepchildren, Ed Slaman (Beth), Cathy Withee (John), Keith Slaman (Amy), Deanna Slaman (Herb Williams), Erica Kenyon (Randy) and Derek Slaman (Darlene); his siblings, William Nelson (Jackie), Rondall Nelson (Penny), Roger Nelson (Kathy), David Nelson, Angie Miller (Tim), Judy Dural (Bruce), Betty Gunterman (Russell) and Donna Ellis (John); and his brother-in-law Barry Smith (Elaine). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
