It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Emma Shalla of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 91, on August 8, 2022. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse; her grandson James T. Machacek; her parents, Aurora Marmolejo and Carlos Marmolejo; and her siblings, Chuck Marmolejo (Betty) and Lillian.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Machacek (Tom) and Steve Shalla (Michele); her granddaughter Sheri LoCascio (James Denton); her great grandchild Jay LoCascio (Lauren Shaffer); and her sister Evie Sooley (late Andrew) of Texas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
