She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Rosalia; her husband Jack Alger of Griffith; her friends, Luther, Deloris and Mary; her siblings, Mary Schau, Anna Benedict, Pearl Schmidt, Rose Mahaffey, John Nestor and Milt; her children, Jack Alger Jr., Lynette Estes (Guy), Mark Alger (Karen), Craig Alger (Caroline) and Julie Wines; her grandchildren, Brandy Alger, Daniel Estes, Nicole Kubicki and Elena Douglas (TJ); her caregivers, Jayme Alger (Ryan), Tessa Hektoen (Christopher), Jesse Berleen (Terance), Kaitlyn Alger and Jake Alger; her great grandchildren, Tristan Alekszander, Cora, Fiona and Ronan; and her sister-in-law Sonda.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Erin's Farm NFP in Hobart.
