She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Chopiak and Catherine Chopiak; and her siblings, Lydia and Russell. She is survived by: her husband Seward "Jack" Corson; her children, Roger (Haewon), David (Bonnie), Mark, Dana (William) and Diane (Peter); and her siblings, Martha, Samuel, Nicholas and Gloria. She is also survived by six grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

“We are so very sorry for the loss of your wife, mother, sister and a dear friend to many. Dorothy was a wonderful lady who was always kind to everyone she met. Every time I met Dorothy, we always had a nice conversation where we discussed flowers and plants. She gave me seeds from her beautiful garden, and to this day I enjoy them as they grow in my yard. A lovely lady always. Please accept our deepest sympathy for your great loss. She will be missed. Eric and Marcia Stubbeman Avon, Indiana”
