He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Vincent Murphy and Laverne Murphy (Reichenbach); and his brothers, Greg Murphy and Kenny Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Ryan Murphy (Danae) of Monterey, California, Cari Doutre (Clayton) of Tremonton, Utah, Kevin Murphy (Jackie) of Denton, Megan Thompson (Tony) of Cedar Lake and Molly Murphy of Crown Point, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Kelsey Murphy, Avery Doutre, Kaitlin Murphy, Morgan Murphy, Addy Doutre, Carter Thompson, Chase Thompson, Grady Doutre, Mila Murphy, Clint Thompson and Chad Walker Thompson (Chloe Cantrell); and his sister Kathleen Murphy.
