It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Devries of Crown Point, Indiana, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on September 9, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit "Guy" and Ethel DeVries (Eenigenburg); and his brother Carl DeVries. He is survived by: his close friend Brenda Arnold; his sons, Bill DeVries (Becky) of Columbus, Ken DeVries (Nancy) of St. John and Mike DeVries (Becky) of Crown Point; and his siblings, Bernice Smith of Arkansas, Bob DeVries (Jan) of Michigan, Nancy Visser of Dyer and Jann Zielenga (Bob) of California. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts are preferred to the Church of the Four Seasons or the Salvation Army.
