With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David A. Swallow of Crown Point, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Carta Swallow (Minas); his siblings, Dennis Swallow and Christine Cisarik; his grandson Jeremy Guffey Jr.; and his stepfather Gordon Minas.
He is survived by: his father Fred Swallow; his children, Michele Nix (Jeff), Suzanne Wirtz (Mike) and Laura Guffey (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Nathan, Ryan Nix, Mathew, Emily Wirtz, Nickolas, Kaytlynn, Alexandria, Makenzee and Stephanie Guffey; and his siblings, Michael Swallow (Jayne), Robert Minas (Jennifer), Mary Forbes (Tony) and Theresa Crawford (John).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
