Christine Zerites Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2022, at the age of 103, Christine Zerites of Crown Point, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Adams and Alex Adams; her husband Tony Zerites; her stepfather William Vagenas; her brothers, Nick (Dena Adams) and Alex (Irene Vagenas); her siblings-in-law, George, Jimmie, Andrew Zerites, Joyce, Alexandra and Dorothy Zerites; and her cousin Ann "Tash" Kapotas.
She is survived by: her nieces, Kathy Butterfield (David) of Valparaiso, Christina Zerites and Carrie Zerites of Effingham, IL; her nephew Bill Vagenas (Pam) of Arizona; her great-niece Deena Lawley-Dixon (Ken) of Valparaiso; her great-nephew William Vagenas; her goddaughters, Chrissy Belessis of Pendleton and Marty Vagenas of Crown Point; her friends, Joe and Marylee Pollaro of Valparaiso; her cousins, Heliopoulos and Poulos; and also Evyenia Lawley of Valparaiso.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Christine's name to the Saints Constantine and Helen Cathedral's Senior Citizens Club.
