He was predeceased by: his wife Alma; and his parents, Thomas and Maria. He is survived by: his children, Kristina Lynne Bos (Steve), Monica Renee Woods (Kyle) and Stephen Nicholas Apostol (Kristin); his grandchildren, Ryan Bos, Sydney, Dylan Woods, Benjamin, Ava and Emma Apostol; his sister Dee Funderlic; and his friends, Norm Hill and Mike Beach.
