It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Ann Avery of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Lundgren and Iris Lundgren. She is survived by: her husband John Avery; her children, Jeff Avery, Sharon Mack (Dave) and Mike Avery (Bethany); her grandchildren, David, Thomas Mack, Dylan and Emma Avery; and her siblings, Carl Lundgren (Lena) and Gayle Leonard (Richard). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In honor of Cheryl's giving nature, the family invites donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
