He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Laura M. Bloom-Johnson; his children, Brom Johnson and Alex Johnson; his parents, Yesthi Johnson and John Johnson; his parent-in-law Ellamarie S. Boersma; his sister Susan Westerfield (Donald Smith); his sister-in-law Juliet McNulty (James); and his nieces and nephews, Lexi Westerfield, Jacob Johnson, Liam McNulty and Vaughn McNulty.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Chicago Field Museum (http://www.fieldmuseum.org.), appreciated.
