She was predeceased by: her husband Adolf "Al" Balicki; her parents, Walter Pesko and Agnes Bajgrowicz; her stepfather John Bajgrowicz; her siblings, Chester Pesko (Dagney), Edward Bajgrowicz (Theresa), Isabelle Hojnacki (Walter) and Genevieve Murida (John); her son-in-law Warren Hansen; her grandson Samuel Balicki; and her great great grandchild Eliana Orgon.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Hansen, David Balicki (Debbie) and Tom Balicki (Barb); her grandchildren, Scott, Chris, Michelle, Thomas, David, Michael, Andrew and Emily; her great grandchildren, Jessica, Aaron, Alexa, Bradley, Morgan, Conner, Owen, Scarlett and Juliet; and her great great grandchildren, Mason, Rae Lynn, Cohen and Sutton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Bernice's name to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Crown Point, IN.
