We bid farewell to Barb ara J. Black of Crown Point, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 3, 2025 at the age of 96. Barb touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Myron "Jack" Black; and her parents, Ray Wiker and Grace Wiker. She is survived by: her children, Bradley "Brad" Black (Lisa) and Jill Frechette; her grandchildren, Nicholas "Nick" Black (Lauren), Madeline "Maddie" Black and Matthew "Matt" Frechette; and her great grandchild Parker Black.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Covid caused Barb's activities to come to an abrupt halt and also brought the first signs of Alzheimer's.
