He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Lee and Doris Faye Henderson Murphy; and his brother Brian Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Susan Thompson Murphy; his daughter Michelle Lee King (Travis); and his siblings, Charlie Murphy (Danielle), Jim Murphy (Lynn) and Diane Hackman (Denver). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
