He was predeceased by: his parents, Medley Madden and Margaret Madden (Burkhart); his wife Anna Lee Madden (Minton); and his siblings, Jewell St. John, Sherry Moses, Wanda Brown, Nancy Madden, Crystal Bennett, Ernest Madden, Bill Madden, Jack Madden and Orville Madden.

He is survived by: his children, Roger Madden (Amber) of Crothersville, IN and Angela Barnes (Josh) of Crothersville, IN.; and his grandchildren, Kendra Lengel (Ben) of Underwood, IN, Cheyenne Lorimor (Peyton) of Louisville, KY, Wyatt Madden of Crothersville, IN, Laynie Barnes of Crothersville, IN, Annslee Barnes of Crothersville, IN and Wrenn Barnes of Crothersville, IN..
