He was predeceased by: his parents, Pryse Colwell and Opal E. Colwell (Seal); and his brother Tony Colwell. He is survived by: his fiancée Debbie Helt of Austin, IN; his son Bryse Tyler Colwell of Chicago, IL; his stepsons, Jacob Rucker of New Albany, IN, Nathan Rucker of Austin, IN and Adam Rucker of Austin, IN; his stepgrandson Forrest Rucker; and his siblings, Donna Crafton (Butch) of Shelbyville, IN, Patricia Lynn Newland (Nick) of Seymour, IN and Danny Colwell (Cheryl) of Seymour, IN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
