He is survived by: his children, Doug Maxie (Dee) of Dudleytown, Patricia Ridgway of Harrodsburg and Rebecca Smallwood of Seymour; and his grandchildren, Michael Maxie (Mahala), Mitchell Maxie (Maranda Morgan), Melissa Maxie (Jacob Wagner), Mark Maxie (Alison) and Jeremy (Tonya).
