He was predeceased by: his parents, William Montgomery and Jewell Montgomery (Chandler); his son James Michael Montgomery; and his siblings, Joe, Donnie Ray, Lawrence "Jack" and Crystal Hadden.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia "Sally" Montgomery (Anderson) of Crothersville, IN; his children, Donna Rider (Steve) of Uniontown, IN, Edward Montgomery (Angela) of Austin, IN and Mary Jo Isenhower (Vaughn) of Crothersville, IN; and his brother Billy Neal Montgomery (Donna) of Jefferson City, MO.. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory (110 E Howard St, Crothersville, IN 47229). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Crothersville Cemetery.
