He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Taylor and Alma Taylor (Wheeler); his children, Thomas Scott Taylor and Mary Grinstead; and his brother Donald Basil.
He is survived by: his wife Colette Taylor (Whalen); his children, Kayla Cockerham (Justin) of Seymour, IN, Tony Taylor (Annie) of Glasgow, KY, Herbert Taylor Jr. (Angel) of Attica, IN and Cathy Heeter of Attica, IN; his grandchildren, Hayleigh and Brooklyn of Seymour, IN; and his sister Carolyn Fields of Horse Cave, KY.. He is also survived by several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
