He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Turner and Oma Turner (Riley); and his brother Robert Turner. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Maria Cole (Kevin), Kevin Ackeret (Diana) and Jon Haves (Beth); his grandchildren, Janissa Cole (Ben Taylor), Jordan Cole, Whitney Ackeret Taylor (Travis), Chase Ackeret (Caitlin Mills), Isaiah Turner and Lauren Turner; his great grandchildren, Harrison Taylor and Liam Taylor of Rowan Taylor; and his siblings, Louise Turner Forrest (Kenny), Dewey Turner (Phyllis) and Marie Turner Lee (Danny).
