It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Robert Mitchell of Crothersville, Indiana, born in Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Vicky Jean Ritz (Herd); his grandparents, Fay Ritz, Opal and Arthur Mitchell; and his father-in-law Edward Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Mandy Mitchell (Joseph) of Crothersville, IN; his son Sully Robert Joseph Mitchell; his father Donald Edward Mitchell (Christie) of Corydon, IN; his siblings, Leandra Wallace of Edinburgh, IN and Joshua Samuel Herd of Indianapolis, IN; his grandfather Charles Robert Ritz of Martinsville, IN; his nephews, Griffin Wallace and Jonah Douglas; his brothers-in-law, Andrew Douglas (Allie) of Greensburg, IN and Zechariah Douglas of Greensburg, IN; and his mother-in-law Debbie Douglas of Greensburg, IN. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.
