He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald "Bud" Sage and Elma Sage (Sweany); his siblings, Dixie Kiewitt and Ronald; his sister-in-law Charlotte Sage; his brother James Farmer; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Lewis and Lester Roth.
He is survived by: his niece Vanessa (Jason Findley) of Seymour; his great-nephew Jed Findley; his siblings, Linda Lewis of Nineveh, IN, Doloris Roth of Tennessee and Joe Sage (Mary) of Hartsville, IN; and his sister-in-law Brenda Farmer of Crothersville, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
