It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Sheffield of Crothersville, Indiana, born in Oneida, Kentucky, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert "Gib" Maxie and Novella Davidson (Davidson); her brother Scott Maxie; her aunt Judy Garrett; and her stepfather Willie H. Davidson.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas J. Sheffield, Mary Sheffield and Amber Sutton (Brian); her grandson Zachary Lett; her siblings, Mark Maxie (Bonnie) of Ponce Inlet, Florida and Stacie Quillen of Crothersville, Indiana; her great-niece Nina Quillen; and her niece Kristina Quillen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
