He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl W. Fuerste Sr. and Susan "June" Fuerste (Zickel). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Kay Fuerste (Hermansen); his children, Angie Felkner (Pete) of Fort Wayne, IN and Erik Fuerste (Heather) of Fort Wayne, IN; his grandchildren, Logan, Madi, Luke, Bailey, Layne and Oliver; his sister Rachel Longhurst (Randy) of Milford, MI; his nephew Jason Longhurst (Andrea) of Davisburg, MI; and his niece Krystin (Jacob). He is also survived by two great nephews and two great nieces.
