He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Bitner (Swenson) and Don Harlan; his wife Connie Kissinger; and his son Mark Harlan. He is survived by: his son Don Harlan (Amy) of Cromwell; his grandson Connor Byrd of Cromwell; and his brothers, John Harlan (Esther) of Ligonier and Mike Harlan (Diane) of Columbia City.
