He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Ferguson Sr. and Margie Louise Morgan (Wheatley); his stepfather Jack D. Morgan; and his siblings, Sylvia J. Young, James R. Ferguson and George W. Ferguson Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Charles L. Ferguson Jr. of Fort Wayne and Cheryl L. Allen (Peter) of Columbia City, Indiana; and his grandsons, Ethan B. Gates, Evan H. Gates and Nolan L. Allen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Oak Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the the family for the ongoing care of his son, Chuck Jr.
