He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell Clifton and Grace McMurray Clifton; his son Jay Clifton (Mandy) of Rockville; his son-in-law Chuck Switzer of Crawfordsville; his grandchildren, Christy Hughes (Dan), Michael Switzer, Jason Clifton (John), Jackson Clifton and Joe Clifton; his great grandchildren, Corbin Hughes, Jessica Hughes, Grayson Hughes and Shianne Switzer; his wife Ione Clifton; his daughter Debbie Switzer; and his sister Thelma Royer.
