He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Rice and Vera Rice (Gose); his siblings, Lena, Morris and Frieda; and his grandson Joshua.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Myers; his children, Marla Mack (James) of Indianapolis, Gary Rice (Terri), Lisa Powell (Terry) and Gregory Rice (Linda) of Crawfordsville; and his grandchildren, Serah, Lindsay, Julie, Andrew, Stacey, Steven, Cory and Madison. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
