She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Wall and Zula Cope Wall; her husband James "Jim" Douglas; her sister Freda Jean Baker (Harold Baker); her grandson Noah Herbert Smith; and her son-in-law David Proffitt.

She is survived by: her sisters, Norene Servies and Lorma Hale (J. B.). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Donations in her memory should be directed to the Women's Resource Center, 407 E. Market Street, Suite 106, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
